Job Description

Bio-Techne seeks an Advanced Lab Assistant to support protein sciences operations in Minneapolis. The role involves labware sterilization, cell culture harvesting, equipment maintenance, and cGMP production support across multiple laboratory functions.

Responsibilities

• Operate autoclave, labware washer, and sterilization equipment following departmental protocols
• Harvest and concentrate conditioned media and prepare materials for product purification including cGMP productions
• Prepare, manufacture, and handle buffers, solutions, media, and plates for laboratory use
• Maintain equipment calibrations, perform routine maintenance, and document laboratory methods
• Assist in training new staff and support development of standard operating procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years related laboratory experience
• Associate degree with 0-2 years related laboratory experience
• Knowledge of general lab equipment and centrifuge operation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and manual dexterity
• Professional written and oral communication abilities
• Capacity to lift 40 lbs. and stand or sit for extended periods

Compensation: $20.00 - $27.50
