- Payrate: $15.50/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM
- Rotating schedule: 3 days on / 2 days off / 2 days on / 3 days off
Medical Device Assembler | Summary and Highlights: The
Medical Device Assembler will support the fabrication, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices while following established procedures and quality guidelines. This role may also assist with basic equipment operation and in-process quality checks, and requires strong attention to detail and consistent attendance in a manufacturing environment.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Medical Device Assembler | Responsibilities: - Perform manufacturing/assembly, testing, and packaging tasks for medical devices
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines
- Conduct basic in-process quality inspections according to specifications
- Assist with setup/operation and basic troubleshooting of equipment as assigned
- Rotate into different tasks and responsibilities based on production needs
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and support team production goals
Medical Device Assembler | Requirements: - Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Previous manufacturing experience required
- Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications in English
- Basic math skills and strong attention to detail
- Able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
- Comfortable standing/walking for extended periods; able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Willingness to work flexible and/or extended hours as required
