Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSolo private practice seeks a dynamic, experienced, self-motivated, knowledgeable Medical Office Manager with excellent managerial, administrative, written, and communication skills.Responsibilities include:Organizing and coordinating office operations and proceduresKnowledge of health insurance policies and guidelines, including copays, coinsurance, referrals, and verification of insurance; handling patients' records discreetly and updating demographic and financial information; Protecting and securing medical recordsKnowledge and utilization of EMR, medical coding and billing relevant to practice. Overseeing billing and collections portion of office; Ability to work effectively with vendors; Managing inventory and equipmentExcellent written and communication skills; Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Must be able to think creatively and multitask. Ability to work with a diverse population.Excellent time management skills.
